Mulching involves adding a mix of organic undecomposed materials such as leaves, wood chips, grass/hay, bark, manure and several other materials to the soil. It is added like a layer of organic materials and is known to help maintain ideal growth conditions, by reducing water-loss, better aeration and optimal soil conditions. Agricultural mulch has now seen the development of sheets of plastic-like materials with holes in them that work in much the same fashion. You may recollect seeing something similar in strawberry fields, amid other cultivation. Just that, at Eco-one, we produce 100 percent biodegradable agricultural mulch. It is something that will increasingly become a popular part of the agricultural process.
